How to manage app notifications from Celticnewsnow on iOS and Android devices

Enabling or disabling notifications from the Celticnewsnow app is dead easy – there is just one setting at the moment – you can have them either ON or OFF in your device's Settings screen.

Are you receiving duplicate notifications? Try turning notifications off then on again using the following instructions – if that doesn't fix it, please email us.

Follow these simple steps to manage your app notifications on your Android phone or tablet.

  • Tap your Settings icon (usually a cog: ).
  • In the Device section of your Settings screen, tap Applications (or Apps).
  • If you're on a Samsung device, you might have and extra step: tap Application manager to view your list of downloaded apps.
  • Scroll down the list of apps to find Celtic News Now, and tap on it.
  • Look for the checkbox labeled Show notifications – tick it to enable notifications, or untick it to disable them, and tap OK to confirm.
