Celtic TV Broadcast Guide

Where to watch Celtic on TV

Celtic matches are broadcast on different channels depending on the competition and where in the world you are watching. This guide covers the main routes for following the Hoops live throughout the season – Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup, Premier Sports Cup and European nights – and during pre-season tours and friendlies.

United Kingdom and Ireland

  • Sky Sports – the main broadcaster for live Scottish Premiership matches and the latter rounds of the Scottish Cup. Coverage is split between Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. A Sky subscription or a NOW Sport day pass is the easiest way in.
  • BBC Scotland – picks up free-to-air Scottish Cup ties, including several of Celtic's earlier rounds, plus highlights of every league match on Sportscene. The full programme is also available on BBC iPlayer.
  • Premier Sports – the home of the Premier Sports Cup (formerly the League Cup), shown live across the group stage, knockouts and final. Available as a standalone subscription or as a Sky/Virgin add-on.
  • TNT Sports – broadcasts the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League in the UK, so Celtic's European nights typically land here. Streaming via Discovery+ Premium.
  • Celtic TV – the club's own channel carries live audio commentary and on-demand highlights of every match for Celtic TV subscribers. Live video coverage of domestic matches is blocked in the UK by broadcast rules, but available worldwide (see below).

United States and Canada

  • Paramount+ – the long-standing US rights holder for the Scottish Premiership, streaming most league matches live, and the home of UEFA Champions League coverage via CBS Sports.
  • ESPN+ – has carried Scottish Cup coverage in North America for several seasons. Check the listings closer to each round.
  • fubo and Sling TV – bundle the relevant channels for fans who prefer a single subscription rather than juggling streaming services.

Australia and New Zealand

  • Stan Sport, beIN Sports and Paramount+ ANZ are the usual options for following Scottish football and Celtic's European games. Coverage shifts between providers when broadcast rights are renegotiated, so it is worth checking each season.

Rest of the world

Outside the UK, the most reliable option is a Celtic TV subscription, which provides full live video coverage of Scottish Premiership fixtures (subject to UEFA blackout windows on European matchweeks). It is also the only way to watch a complete archive of past matches and behind-the-scenes content.

Finding tonight's match

The fixture list above shows confirmed broadcasters for the next few games. If Celtic are due to play in the next 48 hours and no TV listing appears, the match is either not being televised live in the UK or the broadcaster has not yet been announced – these are usually confirmed seven to ten days before kick-off.

Broadcast rights change between seasons; this guide is reviewed and updated each summer.
