From Celtic FC: Honduras internationalist, Luis Palma joined the club on a five-year contract during the 2023 summer transfer window.
The speedy attacker arrived from Greek side, Aris, where he played for 18 months. Prior to that, Luis featured for Vida in his home county and US side Real Monarchs on loan.
Palma is the second Honduran to pull on the famous green and white hoops, following in the footsteps of fans’ favourite Emilio Izaguirre. The left-back played over 260 times during two spells with the Bhoys and enjoyed a strong connection with the club’s supporters and Palma is hoping to make a similar impact.
Palma has represented Honduras at all age levels being selected at the 2017 FIFA under-17 World Cup and 2019 FIFA under-20 World Cup.
He made his senior debut in October 2021 coming on as a second half substitute as Honduras took on Costa Rica in a World Cup qualifier.
