From Celtic FC: Odin Thiago Holm signed a 5 deal at Celtic FC in June 2023, becoming the first recruit in Brendan Rodgers’s second spell in charge.The midfielder joined from Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien, where the 20-year-old made his first-team debut at the age of 15 back in 2019. Overall, the midfielder played more than 75 times for Valerenga, scoring six times, which has earned him two caps for the Norway Under-20 side.
Born with the name Odin Holm, in 2017 he legally took Thiago as a middle name, crediting Spain midfielder Thiago Alcantara as his role model and the reason behind the name change.
