From The Celtic Wiki: Stevie Woods was appointed Goalkeeping Coach in 2007 during the managership of Gordon Strachan. He has worked under Strachan, Tony Mowbray, Neil Lennon and continues to work for the backroom staff of current manager Ronny Deila. He worked for 2 years with the Reserves and Development team before moving up to first team coach in 2009 with the appointment of Tony Mowbray as manager. He took over from Jim Blyth who left with manager Gordon Strachan.

A Glaswegian by birth, Woods had a decent playing career as a keeper. He was in the youth team at Hibernian before moving to Clydebank. Further moves saw him to Preston North End and Motherwell where he was the regular first team goalkeeper making over 140 appearances. He moved to St Mirren in 2003 before moving into coaching in 2005.

His first coaching position was with Livingstone before moving on to Dunfermiline.

He has been instrumental in the development and continued sharpness of Celtic goalkeepers. He first worked to restore the sharpness of Artur Boruc. His biggest triumph is probably seeing Fraser Forster go from being a loan signing at Celtic to become an England international before he moved on from Celtic to Southampton in 2014 for £10 million.
