Something as simple as going to the football is a past time most of us take for granted. Watching our favourite players in action, admiring every pass, every shot, every tackle – it’s all part of the experience. But for some of our fellow supporters, the matchday experience isn’t quite as simple. And that’s where Callum McFadden and Kevin McColgan step in. Without them and their colleagues the 90 minutes would be far less enjoyable for so many of our dedicated supporters. Callum & Kevin are part of the ‘Audio Description Team’ at Celtic Park, a team that provides a unique commentary experience for supporters with visual impairments. Win, lose or draw they’re there at Celtic Park (and now at many away grounds too) to ensure that those who need their services can enjoy every minute of the action as Brendan Rodgers and the Bhoys do their thing. 🎙️ Callum & Kevin joined us in the TCE studio this week to tell us about who it all started, how they got involved, and of their passion to make football more accessible for all. **If you or someone you know may benefit from Celtic’s Audio Description service then please reach out in the first instance to Celtic’s Disabled Access Officer Alexis Dobbin on [email protected] OR Supporter Liaison Office John Paul Taylor on [email protected] ============================== SUPPORT THE CELTIC EXCHANGE THIS SEASON 👇 1.
