September 2 – Scottish Premiership’s Aberdeen is lobbying the granite city’s political powers on the city council to back a proposal for a new Aberdeen Beach stadium for the club. The club that has played at the 22,199-capacity Pittodrie Stadium since it was founded in 1903, have never been relegated from the top flight of Scottish football since they were elected to it in 1905.
