Following further discussions concerning the organisation for the forthcoming UEFA Champions League match between Aston Villa and Celtic next Wednesday (Jan 29), it has now been agreed that collection of away tickets for the above match can take place in Glasgow at Celtic Park. While local West Midlands authorities had originally stipulated that our ticket collection must take place in Birmingham on matchday, it has become clear that there was no suitable collection point available which would allow a smooth, safe and comfortable collection process to take place for our supporters and staff. Therefore, through further discussions, tickets are now required to be collected a day earlier on Tuesday, January 28 from Celtic Park. The Ticket Office at Celtic Park will be open from 10am until 8pm on Tuesday in order for us to manage this process. Any supporter who has already been issued with a voucher, we would ask that you bring this to the Ticket Office, with your valid passport / photo driving licence in order to collect the relevant ticket. Supporters who have not yet collected a voucher are no longer required to do so but to secure their match ticket should bring email confirmation and valid passport / valid photo driving licence. All season ticket holders must collect their own match ticket. Please note, we have been advised by the relevant authorities that these collection arrangements are a mandatory requirement in order for the club to achieve its full allocation for our supporters. Please also note that our full allocation is now sold out. The club understands the many challenges which would have been presented by a matchday ticket collection in Birmingham and we hope this process which provides slightly earlier ticket collection will avoid disruption to matchday for our fans. The Club was recently made aware by the relevant authorities that tickets had to be distributed in Birmingham on matchday and has been involved in detailed discussions since then to find more suitable arrangements for our supporters. While we fully accept that the advance collection process is not ideal, the circumstances presented to us have been challenging and are entirely outwith our control. Of course, we regret any inconvenience which has been caused to our supporters. We would like to thank Aston Villa FC for their support provided throughout these discussions. We thank our fans sincerely for their continued support. PLEASE NOTE, PARKING ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2025 WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE CLYDE GATEWAY CAR PARK AT CELTIC PARK.
