Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid

Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid provide a range of support services to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. These support services include emergency accommodation, specialist counselling, group work, personal development programmes, and one-to-one support. They also campaign for legislative change and constantly seek to raise awareness of the impact of domestic abuse with various online and social campaigns. ‘Celtic FC Foundation have been supporting Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid every Christmas for the past few years and it means the world to us to have your continuing support. Women and children experiencing Domestic Abuse in our community have had so many things taken from them and every year you give them a Christmas with food on the table, heat and light in their homes and toys in stockings. When women receive this money, many burst into tears finding it incredible that people in Scotland whom they have never met are offering them a lifeline.
