There will certainly be no lack of confidence from Benjamin Nygren when he takes to the field against Dundee this Sunday in a vital Premiership match for Celtic. The Swedish midfielder, who has already netted 19 goals for the Hoops in this campaign, played his part in helping Sweden qualify for this summer’s World Cup after they beat Ukraine and Poland in the play-offs. And now, putting all thoughts of the tournament aside for the next couple of months, the 24-year-old is aiming to help the Hoops in their push for silverware this season. Speaking at Lennoxtown today, Nygren said: “I come back very happy and bring a lot of confidence back, so I just want to do the same thing here. “It’s a little bit of the same situation here, in a way – in Sweden we were counted out and we made it, and that feeling was absolutely unbelievable, and I want to do the same thing here. “We just keep on training hard and keep believing – I think that’s the most important thing. Believing as an individual but also as a group and as a team. With the whole club, players, staff, staff, fans, everyone together, then we can make it. “In tough moments, you can really show who you are as a person and as a team, so that’s what we need to do. “I’ve said it before but I think we’ve got a great group and a great team and we’ve showed many times this season that we never stop believing and we never stop working hard. So I’m believing in this group. “There’s been a break and now we’re feeling fresh as individuals and as a group, and we’re going into the Dundee game to win and take it game by game, and I’m sure we’ll make it.”And reflecting on Sweden’s achievement in reaching the World Cup, Nygren said: “It was an unbelievable experience, something that I’ve dreamt about since I was a kid, so it was an incredible night and the best experience so far in my football career. “Graham Potter been unbelievable – what a coach and what a person as well. That’s what I’ve told everyone who’s been asking. Not only is he a great coach but he’s an unbelievable person and he’s brought the group together so well. “Our qualification wasn’t easy and he came in and tried to bring the team back together and I think he’s done that in a very good way.” Sweden will be in the same group as Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia, so the midfielder is set to face some of his Celtic team-mates in the summer, including Sebastian Tounekti. “As soon as the World Cup groups came out, we spoke about it but Sweden still had to qualify,” he said. “But me and Seba have spoken about it a lot and he really wanted us to win so we could play each other in the World Cup, so that will be amazing.”Upcoming FixturesDundee Vs.
