Brendan Rodgers has shared his thoughts as the Hoops prepare to return to domestic action following the international break. With players gradually filtering back into Lennoxtown after representing their countries, the manager provided an update on the squad’s readiness. He said: “We’ve virtually got a couple of the guys left to play. The group will be all together again on Friday. It’s always a bit fragmented with so many players away. “Thus far they are all back healthy, and hopefully, that will stay the case come Friday.” Looking ahead to Saturday evening’s clash with Hearts at Tynecastle, the Irishman acknowledged the challenge that awaits, but expressed excitement for the occasion in Edinburgh. He said: “It’s always been a tough game there. “I think my last evening game there was with Liverpool when we played the Europa League. But still, I look forward to us getting together. “It’s a great game to get started. It’s always going to be a tough game at Tynecastle, but we will be ready and prepared for it.” Watch the full interview now with Brendan Rodgers if you subscribe to Celtic TV – www.celticfc.tvFixturesHeart of Midlothian Vs.
