It ended all-square between Celtic and Hibernian at Celtic Park this afternoon, though the Celts produced enough chances and a performance that should have seen all three points staying at Celtic Park. Hibs keeper Raphael Sallinger came up with numerous big moments throughout the match, whilst the woodwork also played its part in denying the Hoops from taking the lead. Speaking to Celtic TV after the match, captain Callum McGregor reflected on a frustrating afternoon in front of goal for the Hoops, though he praised his team-mates for the performance that they delivered. “For all the good play, we couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net.” McGregor said. “Ultimately that’s what matters. “We have to keep working and generally, if we play like that and create as many big chances as we did then, in the main, it will fall for you and it will go in. ‘If we perform like that, more often than not we’ll collect the points.’ “It’s probably as slick as we’ve been in the first half. We created a lot of chances and their keeper made a few good saves. “The guys who came in were really good and everyone was in sync and moved the ball. Everyone who came in did well.”Today was Celtic’s sixth league game of the season so far, and despite the dropped points, today’s draw continues the unbeaten start to the domestic campaign. The Hoops’ next match sees them return to Celtic Park in European action, with SC Braga the opponents on Thursday night, and Callum McGregor says that he wants to see a similarly positive performance when that Europa League match rolls around. The Celtic captain added: “We have to stick together. You want to win every game, especially here at home. “We all know it’s a results business, but only six games in, we have more than enough games to get the points that we need. “In terms of performance, though, we want to replicate that as much as we can and I think if we do, we’ll win more games than we won’t.”FixturesCeltic Vs.
