Goals from Luke McCowan, Alistair Johnston and Adam Idah put Celtic top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference. There was frustration for Motherwell with Liam Gordon shown a red-card in the dying minutes of the game for a reckless – and needless – challenge on Idah.
