Celtic were heavily linked with Ivorian winger Jocelin Ta Bi in the January window but no deal was forthcoming. After hearing criticism from supporters for spending money in Israel, Ta Bi’s move to Celtic Park collapsed despite agreement in principle between the clubs and player.
