There’s been a pressure around Celtic and Brendan Rodgers since his return to the club was even first rumoured in the summer and the tension has ramped up notably in recent weeks – despite a 9 game unbeaten run. The manager has shown he’s up for the challenge however, and in the last week his team stepped up with two big wins which keeps us on course for battling it out in both the league and in the Scottish Cup. The results mean that the Bhoys have won 8 and drawn 1 of those last 9 games and show that both the manager and his players are ready to dig deep in order to retain their titles. They may have to do so however without Liel Abada with the young winger being excused at the weekend following a challenging time on and off the park in recent times. Sadly the situation has reached a point where it now remains to be seen whether he’ll pull on a Celtic shirt again. Elsewhere we look at just what it’ll take across the remaining 13 games if Celtic are to lift a third successive Scottish premiership title.
