Celtic will play Partick Thistle at Firhill in the last eight of the Premier Sports Cup following tonight’s draw. The cup holders booked their place in the quarter-finals with an emphatic 4-1 home win over Falkirk on Friday night, with Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston and Dane Murray among the scorers on the night. Partick Thistle, now managed by former Celt, Mark Wilson, beat Ayr United 2-0 in their last 16 tie to set up a meeting with Celtic.
