Celtic will play Rangers in the semi-final of the Premier Sports Cup following today’s draw. Brendan Rodgers’ side booked their place in the last four of the competition with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Partick Thistle at Firhill, courtesy of goals fro Yang, Liam Scales, Sebastian Tounekti and Luke McCowan. And they will now play the side they defeated in last season’s final following a dramatic penalty shoot-out. In the other semi-final, Motherwell will take on St Mirren. The Premier Sports Cup semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 1st/2nd. Further fixture information to follow.
