Celtic FC to celebrate 138th Anniversary with Annual Mass at St Mary’s

Celtic’s annual celebratory Mass at St Mary’s in the Calton will take place on Monday, November 3rd at 7pm, commemorating the 138th anniversary of the club’s formation. Led by an Irish Marist, Brother Walfrid, Celtic Football Club was founded for the maintenance of dinner tables for the children and the unemployed, and we have enjoyed a celebration Mass to mark our foundation every year since the club’s 125th anniversary. The date also coincides with the launch of Celtic FC Foundation’s annual Christmas Appeal, which aims to help those less fortunate living in Glasgow and further afield. This year, the Mass will be conducted by St Mary’s parish priest Father John Mulholland, and as always, it will be a celebration of Celtic’s long and illustrious history. Once again, it’s sure to be an evening filled with emotion and a huge sense of pride, so we encourage supporters of all faiths and none to come along and share it with us.
