Following a historic season in which they were crowned SWPL Champions for the first time, Celtic FC Women return to competitive action this Saturday, August 10, for another milestone occasion. There’s never been a Flag Day in the SWPL before, but that’s all about to change as Kelly Clark and the Ghirls will unfurl the flag at Celtic Park this weekend to kick off the new season! Here’s a full rundown of all the important information you need ahead of Celtic FC Women v Dundee United this Saturday. 9AM | VISIT THE SUPERSTORE The Superstore at Celtic Park will be open for supporters looking to pick up some matchday essentials ahead of the game, with the new 2024/25 Celtic FC Home and Away Kits on sale, alongside the latest drop of 2024/25 Trainingwear. 11AM | TICKET OFFICE OPENS The Ticket Office will be open from 11am until kick-off at 1pm to assist supporters on matchday. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR MATCH TICKET All supporters are reminded to please bring your physical ticket to the game. If you bought your match ticket online to print at home, you must bring your printed ticket with you to gain entry to Celtic Park. Tickets cannot be presented at the stadium on your mobile device. Season Tickets are not valid for this match. Celtic FC Women Season Ticket holders should bring your print at home ticket, which has been emailed to you. 11AM | SPORTS BAR OPEN The Sports Bar at Celtic Park will open from 11am until 5pm, with supporters having the opportunity to have your photo taken with the SWPL trophy until 12:45! Located in the South West corner of the Jock Stein Stand, the bar can be accessed via the main Kerrydale Suite entrance, where stewards will be on hand to direct you. Please arrive early with entry to the bar on a first-come, first-served basis with food and drinks available to buy. The Sports Bar is a cashless facility, with contactless payment methods accepted. 12PM | NORTH STAND AND STADIUM OPEN Head to the North Stand for family-friendly activities like face painting before the match! The stadium will open from 12pm ahead of kick-off at 1pm. Supporters are reminded to enter the stadium at the turnstile location shown on your ticket to access your allocated seat. Additional concourse ticket checks will be in place to ensure adherence. We would reiterate to supporters to please only use your allocated seat for the match and please follow the directions of assisting stewards at all times. CELTIC POOLS PRIZE DRAW Look out for the QR codes on the big screens or head to the Celtic Pools site now for a selection of prize draws to enter. With fantastic prizes like hospitality for Celtic v Rangers, a hot tub getaway and even a Tenerife holiday for two, you don’t want to miss out on the chance to win! Entries cost just £5 and you have until half time during the game to play. CASHLESS FOOD & BEVERAGE KIOSKS Please note that the food and drink kiosks in the concourse areas are now fully cashless – meaning our kiosks can only accept contactless payment methods. 12:45PM | TAKE YOUR SEAT TO ENJOY THE FLAG DAY CELEBRATIONS Get to your seat well ahead of kick-off before we welcome our presentation party out onto the pitch. Caitlin Hayes will carry the trophy out, then footballing legend Rose Reilly will unfurl the Champions flag alongside Kelly Clark in front of the Paradise crowd! 1PM | KICK-OFF Make some noise for the Ghirls as the Champions look to get the 2024/25 season off to a strong start! MEET THE GHIRLS POST-MATCH! Make your way outside and head to the front of the stadium to meet the Ghirls after the game.
