Celtic, Rangers & Motherwell charged over pyro. Postecoglou under pressure? Daily News Update

Blair Malloy brings you the latest headline on Friday 6th December sponsored by Arnold Clark Celtic, Rangers, and Motherwell have all been charged with totally unacceptable conduct following pyrotechnic displays which delayed the League Cup semi-finals last month. Meanwhile, Rangers forward Danilo believes that vying for the center-forward position with Cyriel Dessers will only help bring out the best in both players: “I think that’s the best that can come out from you. So obviously, since we came here, we always had this competition. Sometimes we play together as well, but I think that’s what can bring the best of yourself.” St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson has provided an update on defender Richard Taylor and top goal scorer Toyosi Olusanya, whose contracts expire this summer: “Yeah, we’ve obviously put offers to both players a number of weeks ago now. There’s not a lot more we can move on, you know, so it’ll be a decision that the two boys have to make. But both boys here have been brilliant for me.” And finally, Ange Postecoglou admits that while he didn’t enjoy the angry reaction of Spurs fans, he can understand their frustration following last night’s 1-0 loss to Bournemouth, which left them 10th in the table ahead of facing Chelsea this weekend: “Didn’t like what was being said because I’m a human being. But you know, you’ve got to cop it, and I’ve been around long enough to know that when things don’t go well, that you know, you’ve got to understand the frustration, the disappointment. And they’re rightly disappointed tonight because, you know, again, we’ve let a game of football get away from us.” Those are your daily news headlines for Friday, the 6th of December, sponsored by Arnold Clark.
