Celtic FC Foundation are once again delighted to announce that the Glasgow and London Sleep Out events will return this year. With the season now well underway, we look ahead to our 2024 Christmas Appeal and are asking supporters to join us at either the Glasgow Sleep Out at Celtic Park, or the London event which will return to St Anne’s Primary School in Whitechapel. Participants at each event will spend the night battling the gruelling elements outdoors, under the stars, all for a wonderful cause. All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £135 (after the entry fee) in support of Celtic FC Foundation’s 2024 Christmas Appeal. Registration for the Glasgow and London events are now open. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The non-refundable registration fee is £30 per person. The key details are: CELTIC SLEEP OUT, GLASGOW Date – Saturday, November 16, 2024, 10.00pm-6.00am Venue – Celtic Park Registration – You can sign up HERE. Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions before completing the process. CELTIC SLEEP OUT, LONDON Date – Friday, December 13, 2024, 9.00pm- 5.00am Venue – St Anne’s Primary School, Whitechapel Registration – You can sign up HERE. Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions before completing the process. Celtic Park is, of course, the natural location for the Glasgow event, which is set to take place for the ninth time, but the London venue also holds huge historical significance for the Celtic Family and this year’s event will be the seventh at St Anne’s. In 1892, five years after his leading role in the formation of Celtic Football Club, the Marist Order moved Brother Walfrid from Glasgow to the Whitechapel area of London’s East End. Over the next 15 years, as Head Teacher at St Anne’s Primary, Brother Walfrid transformed the school and also established a project to provide meals to the poor in the local community. Due to anticipated severe weather conditions, these events will be exceptionally challenging, both mentally and physically. Therefore, participants must be aged 18+ and in an appropriate physical condition to participate. Celtic FC Foundation will provide a ground mat and foil sheet/blanket but participants are required to bring the appropriate equipment and wear relevant clothing and footwear. All funds raised from these events will support our 2024 Christmas Appeal, which reflects the very essence of why our club  was formed. The Appeal will help to bring the magic of the festive season to children, families, pensioners, those in refuge, the homeless, refugees and others who are struggling at an especially challenging time of year. So please help us make a difference to those most in need within our communities this Christmas. Thank you so much for your wonderful support!
