Celtic Soccer Academy is delighted to announce that they have partnered with Strike Sports in Melbourne, Australia. Strike Sports will now receive the support of the Soccer Academy to help develop their players over the next year. This partnership involves the sharing of club methodologies through coaching camps and will also provide an opportunity for both the players and coaches to travel to Scotland and receive a behind-the-scenes look at how Celtic develops young players to reach their potential. Director of Strike Sports, Graeme Evans, said: “Since 2014, Strike Sports has delivered high-impact community coaching and mentoring programs to over 10,000 young people across Victoria through partnerships with National Sporting Organisations, State Government departments, not-for-profits, community sports clubs, and schools. “With the growing success of our soccer programs in both school and community settings, we set out to find a professional club to partner with whose values aligned with our mission of empowering young people through sport. That search led us to Celtic FC. “As a lifelong Celtic supporter, it’s a dream come true to bring a piece of the Celtic Academy’s world-renowned development pathway to Melbourne and Victoria. “This partnership is about more than soccer — it’s about building skills, confidence, resilience, and character in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. In partnership with Celtic, we will be launching a youth development program designed to elevate technical ability while also fostering leadership, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of the game. “A true highlight of the programme is that two participants will be selected for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a fully immersive, week-long experience at the Celtic Academy in Glasgow. “This partnership is a major milestone for Strike Sports and a game-changing opportunity for young footballers in our community.” Celtic’s International Soccer Academy Manager, Michael McCahill, expressed his excitement about the new partnership with Strike Sports in Melbourne. He said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce this collaboration, which reaffirms our commitment to developing the game globally. “I am particularly looking forward to launching our first camp with Strike Sports this September and supporting Strike Sports growth and development over the next year.”
