Celtic starting XI to face Falkirk at Paradise

Celtic return to Paradise today (Sunday) for the third time in a week, and in the third different competition following games in the Premiership and the UEFA Champions League. And having won their two games against Hearts and Slovan Bratislava, the Hoops are aiming to deliver a win against Falkirk in the League Cup this afternoon and book their place in the semi-final draw. Brendan Rodgers has made eight changes from the side that produced a stunning 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday night, with another strong starting XI emphasising the strength in depth of the Celtic squad. Alex Valle makes his Celtic debut this afternoon, having joined the club on a season-long loan from Barcelona, while Auston Trusty starts for the first time, having come on as a late substitute in midweek. Kasper Schmeichel, Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate are the three players who retain their place in the team from midweek.
