After the Celts’ convincing 2-0 win away at Easter Road last Sunday, Brendan Rodgers has made one change to his starting XI for today’s League Cup match against Hibs. Kyogo was substituted off in Leith after appearing to have picked up a knock and the Japanese striker does not feature in today’s squad. Daizen Maeda is set to make his first start of the season whilst James Forrest will reach 498 appearances in the Hoops when he takes to the Paradise pitch this afternoon.Kasper Schmeichel will be hoping to make it three consecutive clean sheets after his shutouts against Kilmarnock and Hibs in the Celts’ previous two matches. After signing a five-year-deal with the club during the week, Irish striker Adam Idah starts today’s match on the bench.
