Celtic starting XI to face Newcastle at Celtic Park

Celtic’s pre-season fixture schedule continues today (Saturday, July 19) as the champions of Scotland return to Paradise for a match against Newcastle United. The two sides will compete for the inaugural adidas Trophy, with the Hoops coming into the match off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday night. Today’s match is also a clash of last season’s League Cup winners, with both Celtic and Newcastle united lifting the respective trophy in Scotland and England last season.
