It was an emotional day for Chloe Craig, who made her return to action for the first time in over 400 days on Sunday afternoon. The defender was a second half substitute as the Hoops ran out 14-0 winners in the Scottish Cup. Craig, who has been out since September 2024, is now back in contention after over a year on the sidelines. And her first appearance came off the bench on Sunday, in what was an emotional moment for not only her, but the entire Celtic squad. The Academy graduate spoke to Celtic TV after the match to sum up those emotions. She said: “It feels incredible to be back out on the pitch. It’s a day you’re not sure if it’s going to come. ‘But after 461 days that we worked it out to be, it’s emotional, but it’s also exciting.’ “There has been a lot of people that have been following me on my journey – family, friends, past and present team-mates. “So, for me, I’m just grateful and thankful for them to push me on and believe in me. They picked me up when I needed. “So, without them I probably wouldn’t have crossed those white lines again.” Watch the full interview below.FixturesCeltic FC Women Vs.
