It would appear that there has been a marked reduction in what is commonly referred to as “battle fever” among Sevco’s valued customers. The anticipated crowd at Hampden today for the cup tie against St Johnstone looks like it will result in a loss for the basket of assets. I’m told that the club that used to play at Ibrox needs to get around 31,000 through the turnstiles at the National Stadium to break even on a match.
