Celtic remain 5 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership after today’s 1-0 win over Ross County but the performance from Brendan Rodgers’ men left a lot to be desired at times. The Hoops got off to the perfect start with a deflected Alistair Johnston strike in the very first minute but that would be the end of the scoring on the day – much to the surprise of most in attendance. Luis Palma had a chance to extend the lead from the spot, but the Honduran winger missed TWO attempts to do so, which epitomised a frustrating day. A look at the bigger picture always provides perspective but Rodgers himself will concede that this Celtic side could – and should – perform so much better. An interesting final week of the transfer window now awaits.
