Following Sam – Jon’s Journey Across Scottish Football & His Hope For The Future

On Saturday, 21st September, Jon Attenborough and best friend Sam completed the challenge of visiting all 42 Scottish Professional Football League grounds. A notable achievement in its own right, but made even more remarkable when you consider Jon has a visual impairment, and that Sam is his trusted guide dog. An avid fan of Scottish Football, Jon has made it his mission to raise awareness of accessibility across our game, and to highlight the many positive experiences that he and Sam have enjoyed on their journey. On the back of their efforts Jon has now signed a book deal, and the aptly named ‘Following Sam’ will be available in early 2025. Its an inspirational tale of an inspirational duo, and by the sounds of it, they’re just getting started! 🎙️ Jon and Sam joined Tino in the studio to share their inspirational journey across Scottish Football.
