It’s 18 March 1992 and Pat Clinton is about to fight for the world flyweight championship at the Kelvin Hall. It’s also a big night for Pat’s manager Tommy Gilmour Junior, of the famous Glasgow Boxing Dynasty.
It’s going to be a tense, fraught night as Tommy hopes to realise his family’s life ambition – to bring a world title home to Scotland!
But Tommy is not the only person who is excitedly looking forward to the fight. The rest of the Dynasty have ‘returned’ unexpectedly to make this a real family occasion!
Does Pat have a ghost of a chance? Will Tommy make Glasgow proud?
Seconds out for the hilarious new comedy, Haudin’ the Jaikets at Webster’s Theatre on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th April.
This is a rehearsed reading. The play will be followed by a Q&A with Tommy Gilmour MBE, one of Britain’s most successful boxing managers and promoters.
