Grant Scott: We weren’t at the level in derby defeat

It was a disappointing Monday evening for Celtic FC Women, who suffered defeat in the Glasgow derby at New Douglas Park. Having found themselves two behind at the break, the scoring was added to late on to inflict a 3-0 defeat on the Hoops. Reflecting on the match, it was a frustrating afternoon for Grant Scott, who spoke in the immediate aftermath. The Celtic boss admitted his side weren’t at the level, and that is something they will be working hard to rectify as we head into another international break. He said: “It’s a very difficult one for us to take. As a full group, we are very disappointed. I think we have let ourselves down badly today. “But if I know the group well enough, then we will work very, very hard to show better form in the next game. “When losing the goals, I thought there was some pretty big errors, which we had spoken about leading into the game and we allowed that to happen. ‘We probably got what we deserved today.
