In the Spirit of Christmas: Celtic FC Foundation opens Celtic Park for third Christmas in a row

Today, December 25, 2025, Celtic FC Foundation opened the doors of Celtic Park for the third year in a row, welcoming around 400 vulnerable people to Paradise Pit Stop, delivering a day of warmth, care and festive celebration. While for many Christmas is often a time of happiness and togetherness, it can also bring significant challenges for those experiencing hardship, loneliness or isolation. Paradise Pit Stop was created to help ease those pressures, providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests to enjoy the day with dignity and support. Attendees were treated to a traditional Christmas meal, gifts, live entertainment and access to essential support services, with the focus firmly on creating meaningful connections and ensuring no one felt alone on Christmas Day. Now in its third year, our Christmas Day event reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to tackling food insecurity, loneliness and social isolation, while continuing to build long-term, community-led support across Glasgow. The initiative follows the Foundation’s record-breaking 2025 Christmas Appeal, which raised and distributed an outstanding £425,000, made possible by the incredible generosity of our partners, funders and global supporters. Once again, the event was fully funded by The Ellen & Ian Graham Foundation and we extend our heartfelt thanks for their continued generosity and unwavering support in helping us deliver such a meaningful day.
