Isaac English signs for Celtic

Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Isaac English from Greenock Morton on a three-year deal. The highly rated 17-year old defender was a pivotal player as Morton’s under-18 side won the Club Academy Scotland Performance League last season. He also helped the under-18’s reach the final of the Club Academy Scotland cup, with his impressive performances eventually earning him a call up to the Cappielow side’s first team. English will join up with Celtic FC B team, where he will work and progress under manager and former Celtic captain, Stephen McManus.
