Since the formation of Celtic back on the 6th November 1887, charity has never been far from the heart of the club. Over 135 years later, most Celtic supporters will be aware of the ongoing charity work carried out in the club’s name by Celtic FC Foundation but less will be familiar with the Celtic FC Foundation Supporters Committee – a group who work hand in hand with the Foundation in supporting their various fundraising ventures. In this episode we hear from Stephanie Drew and Matt Corr, two members of the committee who both have strong reasons for doing what they do. In particular you’ll hear Stephanie’s story of the invaluable support that the Foundation has given to her family and to her young son Sean, and it’s clear to hear the passion and pride she and Matt take from being involved. We also discuss their latest annual event – taking place on Saturday 23rd March 2024 – including details on this year’s theme and what attendees can expect on the night. It’s set to be a very special night with all proceeds going to a number of very worthy causes so please take some time to check it out and support the event if at all possible.
