đ We are delighted to announce that đŒđ»đČ-đ°đčđđŻ đșđźđ» James Forrest has signed a new contract extension, committing his future to the club until 2026! The winger made his first team debut for the Hoops in 2010 and has gone on to make over 500 appearances for the club, scoring over 100 goals, registering over 100 assists and lifting 24 honours so far, making him the second most decorated Celt of all time currently. Jamesâ longevity in the green and white was rewarded with a testimonial at the beginning of last season, an honour which has only been bestowed upon a handful of Celts throughout the years. Speaking to Celtic TV after putting pen to paper on a year-long extension of his contract, James said: âItâs unbelievable. Iâve loved every minute of being here, from being a wee boy coming through the youth and all the ups that Iâve had playing for the first team. âIâm just delighted that Iâve managed to work hard and hopefully I can keep contributing to the team for another year. âThereâs always been great players and managers at this club, and being a part of this club is a great feeling and once I finish my career Iâll properly look back and think about it all. âWhen youâre in the bubble of it, thereâs nothing better than playing and winning things here.â Manager, Brendan Rodgers said: “This announcement is brilliant news for the club. “James has given everything to Celtic and so much to me personally, but make no mistake, he has so much more to give. “I look at last season and this one already, and see a player undoubtedly who will still deliver for us. “He is a born winner, someone with such talent and desire and I know he can play a hugely important role in bringing us continued success. “His heart and passion will always be with Celtic and I am so pleased he has decided to extend his contract.” đ„#Forrest2026 đSubscribe today to the official YouTube of the worldâs first Quadruple Treble winners, Celtic Football Club:
