This is the Official Celtic FC Podcast and, on this episode, former Celt Joe Ledley looks back on his playing career and his years spent in the green and white Hoops.Ledley began his playing days at Cardiff City before making the move to Glasgow’s East End where he would go on to make over 150 appearances, winning three league titles and helping the Bhoys to two Scottish Cups along the way. Amongst the midfielder’s Celtic highlights reel is a winning goal in a 1-0 Glasgow derby victory in 2011 as well as his performance against Barcelona in that famous 2-1 win over the Catalan giants in 2012.Ledley also racked up 77 international caps for Wales throughout his career, and he looks back on his involvement in the 2016 Euros, where he featured in every match as his country reached the semi-finals. The former Celt will be pulling his boots back on at Celtic Park at the start of September for the Celtic legends v Manchester United legends charity match, and he shares his excitement at the prospect of running out at Paradise once again.
