His appointment in June 2000 marked the beginning of the rebirth of Celtic Football Club and set the ball rolling on a quarter of a century of unprecedented success. In his first season, Martin’s Celtic won a domestic Treble for only the third time in the club’s history, a total of seven trophies and memorably, restored the club’s proud reputation in European competition, reaching the UEFA Cup final in 2003. Martin managed some of the club’s most legendary players and he’ll be joined by some of them on stage in front of thousands of Celtic fans on this night of celebration.
