It was announced earlier today (Friday, January 2) that Mexico internationalist, Julián Araujo has joined Celtic on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the season. The defender, who has 16 Mexico caps to his name, joins Wilfried Nancy’s side ahead of tomorrow’s Glasgow derby at Celtic Park, the Hoops’ first fixture of 2026. Ahead of tomorrow’s game, Araujo spoke to the media at Lennoxtown this afternoon and shared his excitement about the loan move and the opportunity to play for Celtic.
