Celtic today confirmed that the club has as expected decided to take up its one year option on Kasper Schmeichel’s contract. This means that the Great Dane will be a Celtic player until at least summer 2026. Schmeichel has been an ever present for Celtic this season and has already amassed an impressive shutout tally.
