Last weekend he suffered a broken bone in his nose in the win over Dundee. He was back on the field on Wednesday night in the win over Livingston, and, this Sunday, Kieran Tierney aims to play a part in another victory when Celtic visit Rugby Park to play Kilmarnock. The full-back isn’t expecting an easy afternoon of it due to past experience and the knowledge that the Ayrshire side have picked up a couple of decent results at home recently. Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “In the last few weeks they’ve had good results and better performances, and it’s always tough going there. “It doesn’t matter if they are on form or not, but now they are on form, so it is going to be extra tough for us, so we need to play well.” The other two sides in the title race face-off against each other later the same day at Ibrox, but as to whether a good result for Celtic would have an effect on the outcome of that game, the player wasn’t convinced. He said: “You can look at it that way, but we just need to win our games. We need to focus on ourselves now. “The last few results have been good, last-minute winners and we just need to try and keep going, keep creating the chances and taking them, have good performances and try to be strong defensively as well.”Being more ruthless in front of goal could have made Wednesday night’s result a lot more impressive and they could easily have score five or six goals before Livingston scored from the spot. Tierney said: “We do want to do that, of course, but we know the games are never easy. It’s never easy just going out and winning like that, we need to earn that. “I think the last game where we scored a few was Dundee United at home, and games like that are brilliant. “But we know it’s not going to be every week that that can happen, but we just need to be strong defensively and when we get our chances, take them.” Watch the full video to hear KT on: The Livingston game Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Taking chances The title race Stephen Welsh More on the game: Keep up with all of the matchday action: Official Celtic match centre Upcoming FixturesKilmarnock Vs.
