Living Wage Campaign at Celtic
Last year the PLC Board agreed to pay all permanent staff the then current Living Wage rate as a minimum. The Chairman also implied that this minimum rate would be reviewed at the time of the normal annual wage review at Celtic – 1st July. What he did not tell us, but which they actually did, was to remove the annual bonus from all staff who had their wages raised as a result of this development ie the lowest paid employees were removed from the bonus scheme...
