This is the Official Celtic FC Podcast and, on this episode, Matthew Campbell speaks to club legend Lubo Moravčík as he reflects on his playing days at Paradise, his relationship with Henrik Larsson and his love for the Celtic support.Lubo joined Celtic from Duisburg in 1998, and would go on to spend four years at the club, picking up two league titles, two League Cups and one Scottish Cup during that time. He was an instant hit at Celtic Park, scoring a brace in the Hoops’ 5-1 hammering of Rangers in November 1998 just a week after his debut and delivering a performance which earned him the first of many standing ovations he would receive from the Celtic Park faithful.Under Martin O’Neill, Lubo was a pivotal player in the Hoops’ Treble-winning season of 2000/01 and the following season, his last at Celtic Park, he would deliver one of his finest career performances against Juventus in the Champions League. Over the course of this episode, the man who was nicknamed ‘the Gift from God’ recalls his best moments in the green and white of Celtic and reveals who he believes is the best player he ever played alongside.
