The Scottish Cup fourth round weekend is upon us with the Celts traveling to Rugby Park to take on Auchinleck Talbot this Sunday evening in the last of the fixtures for this round. The Hoops go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Falkirk on Wednesday and Martin O’Neill will be looking to make it three wins out of three since his return. The manager has a raft of memories from leading Celtic into the Scottish Cup fray, having won the trophy three times as Hoops manager. Indeed, his final game as Celtic manager first time around was the 2004/05 Scottish Cup final against Dundee United with an Alan Thompson goal claiming the trophy for the Hoops. The Irishman would love to go out on the same sort of high this time around at the end of this season and that would have to start with a win on Sunday. The manager said of his Scottish Cup memories: “Some good and some bad, obviously winning it a few times, which is great. “I’m looking forward to the game immensely, I’ve watched them now, so we’ve got to be really careful. “They have some very, very decent attributes, they are a top-quality Junior side, no question about it, and they’ve got players who have played as well.” For the full Martin O’Neill interview, watch below:More on the game: Liam Scales aiming for Scottish Cup progress:
