Derby day is almost upon us once more and Sunday serves up the first game of a double header at Ibrox with a Scottish Cup game there on the menu following this weekend’s league meeting. This game comes hot on the heels of a highly enjoyable but exhausting win over VfB Stuttgart on Thursday night, but Martin O’Neill utilised his squad expertly to produce the club’s first win in Germany, and he is keen to see the same reaction at Ibrox this weekend. The Irishman said: “They are really great fixtures to be involved in and I’m naturally looking forward to it. “The two sides play each other reasonably often during the course of the season and I think in the next fixture one of the teams is usually trying to rectify something that happened before. “So now it’s out turn if that is the case. It will be a difficult game for us, absolutely no question about that. ‘But are we capable of winning, yes we are.’ “We’ve a lot of players here who have played in these fixtures and have gone to Ibrox and won. “So, they’ve done that in the recent past and it’s up to us to try and emulate that.” Watch the full Martin O’Neill interview below:More on the game: Keep up with all of the action with the Official Match Centre FixturesRangers Vs.
