It’s a return to the National Stadium for the Hoops this weekend as Martin O’Neill’s men take on St Mirren on Sunday afternoon in the Scottish Cup semi-final. It is the second time the sides have met at Hampden this season, with the Paisley side coming away from the last meeting with the League Cup in their possession after defeating Celtic 3-1 in the final, however Martin O’Neill will have his sights set on an entirely different result this weekend. The Irishman was not at the helm for that League Cup final defeat back in December, but he had guided the Hoops to the final with a memorable semi-final victory over Rangers and, with another trip to Hampden just days away, the Celtic boss says that his side are focused on booking their place in the Scottish Cup final.
