On their return back to New Douglas Park, Celtic FC Women were held to a 1-1 draw by Hibernian on Sunday afternoon. Facing off against the current SWPL champions, the Ghirls started the game brightly, going 1-0 ahead inside the opening 10 minutes. Natalie Ross scored her third goal of the season to put the Hoops in front, in what was a strong first-half display. However, despite Lisa Rodgers’ best attempts between the sticks, the away side levelled the scoring through former Celtic striker, Kathleen McGovern.
