Celtic FC Women booked their place in the last four of the Sky Sports Cup with an emphatic 9-1 victory over Queen’s Park on Sunday. It was a superb first-half performance from the Ghirls, who found themselves 7-0 up at the break. There were braces for four seperate players, with Maria McAneny, Saoirse Noonan, Morgan Cross and Emma Lawton adding to their tally for the campaign. The latter of the four players celebrated her 50th appearance on the day, whilst midfielder Momo Nakao made up the scorers on a successful afternoon for the Hoops.
