Celtic quickly got back to winning ways with a sterling 5-1 win over Aberdeen at Paradise in a game that marked Alistair Johnston’s 100th Hoops appearance and a first bow for 19-year-old Jude Bonnar. The visitors carved open some early chances but goals by Daizen Maeda, Jota and Callum McGregor, with his 50th league goal for the Celts, gave the Hoops a 3-0 cushion at the break, and further strikes by Yang, and Maeda again accounted for Celtic’s haul in the 5-1 win.
