Celtic FC Women maintained their perfect start to the season, picking up three points against Partick Thistle. It was an emphatic attacking performance from the Ghirls, who ran out 7-0 winners on their travels to Petershill Park. Three quick-fire first-half goals from Amy Gallacher, Morgan Cross and Natalie Ross gave the Celts a commanding lead at the break. They added to that in the second, as Gallacher and Cross sealed doubles, whilst Momo Nakao and Maria McAneny got in on the scoring. It was a positive afternoon for Elena Sadiku’s side, with another Academy debut also being handed out as 15-year-old Mirren Duncan made her first appearance for the Hoops.
