Morgan Cross nets SWPL Player of the Month for August

Following a strong opening month of the season, Celtic FC Women forward Morgan Cross has been named SWPL Player of the Month for August. The winger, who celebrates one year as a Celtic player today, has been rewarded for her form in the opening fixtures. Scoring in all three of the Hoops’ August games, Cross helped fire Celtic to an impressive opening day away win over Hearts. She then followed that up with a goal in the Ghirls’ first home match against Hamilton, before rounding off the month with a double against Partick Thistle. Having netting four goals in three games, and putting in a string of strong performances, Cross deservedly picked up the award for August. Congratulations, Morgan!
